Bird of Prey

The chronicle

From the dust-choked expanse of The Pilgrim's Road, where every barefoot step was meant as an offering, Aloc first stirred. A creature of common feather and sharp beak, Aloc was less a pilgrim than a predator, an unlikely villain whose diminutiveness made it easy to overlook, often until it was too late.
