The Chronicler's Scroll

A scroll without end, kept by an order whose members neither name themselves nor age visibly. On it is written, in a hand no one has ever caught moving, the telltales of every Bleed event, every season's acceptance, every champion's rise and fall.

When a player opens the World News panel in either verse, they are, in the fiction, reading a copy of the current page of the Scroll. The Chronicler's hand is the admin tool; the Scroll is the feed.

The Scroll cannot be forged. It can, rarely, be amended: when a telltale is retracted from the News, a line blackens on the Scroll rather than vanishing. Scholars have learned to read the blacked-out lines by candlelight. The retractions are often more interesting than the headlines.
