Bleed Pair: The Anchorstone & The Primordial Cage
Cosmic lock
Concept · Both verses
The fifth Bleed pair is not a crossing. It is a prison, held shut from both sides.
The Primordial Cage (Wheel of Ruin, Tier 10) holds something older than creation. If its locks weaken, the occupant wakes. No one who has read the inscription on its door has been able to describe what is inside.
The Anchorstone (FateBreak, Tier 10) is a single black monolith planted where reality must not come undone. Chains no eye can see bind it to the Cage across the Bleed. The Stone holds the prisoner from the outside while the Cage holds it from the inside.
If the Anchorstone cracks, the prisoner wakes. If the Cage fails, the world ends. Both are maintained, nightly, by orders whose names neither verse remembers.
