Hybrids

When the Bleed thickens, it does not only move people and artefacts between layers, it moves blood. A Hybrid is what happens when two species' lineages collide in the thin places. The Bleed reaches into the moment of creation and braids two ancestries into one body.

Hybrids inherit the strongest traits of both parent species and are never weaker than either parent in any given stat. Roughly one in seven rolls as a Tri-Blood, three parent species fused into a single, formidable frame.

Known variants:

• Dual-Blood: two parent species, inheriting the maximum stat potential of each
• Tri-Blood: three parent species, the rarest of all mortal creatures in the shared age
